In this track, we seek panels that focus on interesting, topical, and potentially controversial ideas. Panel sessions should bring together researchers with complementary and conflicting views on a particular research topic. Debate formats are encouraged. Panel proposals should also ensure that they address the global nature of the ICIS audience.

Proposals should be 2 to 3 pages in length and should:

  • Articulate the overall theme and goals of the panel

  • Explain the format and the timeline of the panel

    • audience participation, debates, and innovative designs are encouraged

  • Provide a brief bio of each panelist

  • Make clear how each panelist’s perspective contributes to the overall theme while still being a unique contribution

We are willing to work with authors of panel proposals in advance of the deadline date to ensure that the proposal is interesting and innovative.
